In a partnership that ads depth to both sides, Black Bear Management signs management deal with Dan Adams. Dan is no stranger to the music industry, having spent 23 years of his life playing music, 12 of which were in Nashville. The last 18 months he has been grinding gears and growing his fan base here in Texas, playing acoustic shows and opening for the likes of Josh Grider, Bart Crow, Adam Hood and Rosehill.
“It was really a no-brainer for us, Dan is a guy we’ve been following since he made his move to Texas and we’re glad that we could partner with him to help guide his career” says Mike Gilbert, owner at Black Bear Management. “Dan’s spent a lot of time writing and we’re excited to help get him and his music out to a new fan base of eager fans”
Below is more information on Dan Adams and how you can connect with him.
Dan Adams is a singer/songwriter that has made Austin, TX home to be in the heart of the Texas/Red Dirt music scene. After 10+ years in Nashville, he’s now touring the region and sharing the stage with fellow Texas Troubadours – and loving the way Texans embrace independent, original music. In just under one year in Texas, Adams has played nearly 100 shows, many with artists such as Bart Crow, Josh Grider, Brian Keane, Adam Hood, Jason Eady, Ryan Beaver, Ben Danaher, Uncle Lucius, Clayton Gardner, Rosehill, Josh Abbott and many others.
With the release of his new album “Live Oaks & Lights” in early 2014, Adams continues to gain the respect of fans, peers, and critics in the scene. Galleywinter.com posted a rave review of the album, saying “…Adams proves himself adept at delivering self-penned emotions that connect with his audience…” and “He’s the latest in a line of strongly talented carpetbagging artists that actually represent the modern sound of Texas better than many natives.” (Full text of the Galleywinter review available here: http://galleywinter.com/dan-adams-live-oaks-and-lights/)
With his first single “A Little More Yesterday” beginning to gain traction at Texas radio, Adams looks forward to continuing to grow his following across Texas the old fashioned way…by writing, recording and performing quality songs in front of as many people as possible across this state and beyond.
